Algonquin Clinic Marks First Anniversary
Our OrthoIllinois Algonquin Clinic opened a year ago this month, and we’re preparing to expand a few areas to better accommodate our patients and visitors.
Since its September 2018 opening, the clinic has improved access to specialized orthopedic care in the region. Patients can choose OrthoIllinois bone and joint specialists with expertise in:
- Sports medicine (shoulder, hip and knee injuries)
- Hands, wrists and elbows
- Joint replacement
- Spine and neck care (surgical and nonsurgical options)
- Pediatric orthopedic care
- Orthopedic trauma
- Podiatry
The Algonquin Clinic is located at 650 S. Randall Road, between Bunker Hill and Harnish drives. We currently have 21 subspecialized physicians in Algonquin, and patients can come to us for initial consultation, diagnosis, and treatment, and also access MRI, X-ray, physical and occupational/hand therapy under one roof.
More patients also are choosing Algonquin’s Injury Express clinic for their urgent, walk-in injury needs. Injury Express is your source for sprains, strains, fractures, cuts and scrapes, work and sports injuries, or painful issues that need immediate attention.
As we’ve grown during the past year, two areas have been identified for improvements – our check-in area and our parking lot.
We will soon add two more front desk stations to improve the check-in process and get patients ready for their appointments sooner.
Our parking lot will also expand. A timeline for that construction will be released soon, so check our Facebook page for the latest details.
The Algonquin Clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Injury Express is open 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
